The thing with Kira Yukimura shows so clearly that few shows are about story telling anymore. I mean, SO MUCH could have been done with her and her family and that awesome kitsune storyline.
But does TW focus on it? Nope. It rather kicks her out and keeps around St!les, a plain human who does little to nothing to the story telling. I want Kira and learning to control her powers! I want hellhound!Parrish, who by no means is useless (like St!les), I want him and Lydia to intensify their bond. I don’t care for the original cast stuff people are after…if you bring in such cool characters, keep working with them!
But nah, let’s kuck off the badass kitsune.
And bait some useless St!dia instead.
I’m honestly flabbergasted and insulted that the writers didn’t have “room” for Kira, like they couldn’t come up with any new storylines for her or some shit, when they’ve barely scratched the surface of kitsune mythology and there’s enough left to fuel at least a whole other season
but who cares about that, let’s have more of Stiles making puppy dog eyes at Lydia while she’s bleeding out on a hospital bed.
So, let me get this straight…
Malia is seen wearing Stiles’ shirts, she’s working with Braeden to make sure Stiles is safe from her psychotic mother, she clearly states she should be the one protecting Stiles, she OBVIOUSLY still has feelings for Stiles, etc. BUT stalia shippers are being over dramatic and shouldn’t have hope for Malia and Stiles getting back together.
Lydia has willingly been spending time with Parrish most of season 5 (even when he politely declines), she initiates most of the physical touches between them, she called Sheriff Stilinski to make sure Parrish wouldn’t leave town, and so and so forth. BUT marrish shippers apparently have no right to ship Lydia with a man she clearly has her eyes on.
BUT LYDIA AND STILES SIT NEXT TO EACH OTHER AND IT’S SO OBVIOUS THEY’RE SOOOO IN LOVE WITH EACH OTHER AND THEY’RE ENDGAME!!1!11!!

as i’ve said so many times before: i don’t give a fuck about what stiles feels when lydia is in danger, pain, trauma, etc. i am so fucking tired of always seeing her hurt or hospitalized. i am so tired of seeing her unconscious. i am so tired of slow motion zoom ins on stiles’ face while she lays in a hospital bed, brutalized. i am so tired of seeing her bleed, seeing her cry, seeing her afraid.
if there needs to be a styd*a scene in the finale, why can’t she be conscious? why can’t she have a say in holding his hand? why can’t they be making jokes or even sitting in awkward, tense silence together? why does she always have to be brutalized for the sake of allowing stiles to hold her hand, gaze at her sadly, and ultimately force all of the focus onto him? i just… am so so so tired, wow.
